Keep Austin Beautiful Day – April 12th

Help Revive the Windsor Park Community Garden on Keep Austin Beautiful Day!

Join us on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Windsor Park Community Garden for the 40th annual Keep Austin Beautiful Day! The garden has fallen into disrepair in the last few years and significant trash, debris, and brush have built up. To address this, we have partnered with Keep Austin Beautiful (KAB) for their city-wide litter pick-up day. This volunteer day will be a huge step forward in the ongoing plans to revitalize the garden. Because KAB will be providing trailers and haul-off, a successful day will save the garden a significant amount of money in trash-removal costs to be paid outside of this event. 

How you can help: Bring your energy and enthusiasm! Tools and neoprene gloves will be provided (though work gloves may be better suited). Wheelbarrows are especially needed if volunteers are able to bring theirs. Volunteers should also bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and any other sun protection. Parking will be available at the library next door or on Westminster Ave. Children are welcome but must be well-supervised as there are hazards in the garden.
