Hello!
Megan Kaplon who manages the City of Austin’s Fix-It Austin program shared this information
The mission is to promote reuse and repair culture while teaching valuable repair skills to the community.
This Saturday December 14, we’re thrilled to host our first-ever Toy Hospital at the University Hills Library Branch, and we’d love your help in spreading the word about the event!
At the Toy Hospital, attendees can bring up to two broken toys and work alongside our team of skilled volunteers to learn how to fix them. It’s a hands-on, interactive experience that fosters creativity, problem-solving, and sustainability—it would be a great event for Windsor Park families.
I’ve attached a flyer for the event and included text below that you can copy and paste to share directly via email or social media.
