Getting around by bicycle along and even across Berkman has become a harrowing experience. Even with the traffic calming changes that have been implemented along Berkman, the measures are not enough to keep pedestrians, and kids on bikes crossing Berkman safe. Many elementary and middle school students who live west of Berkman have to cross Berkman daily. Commuters who want to bicycle out of the neighborhood have to travel along Berkman.
Now is your opportunity to speak directly to two city council members, District-4 Council Member Jose “Chito” Vela and District 9 Council Member Zohaib “Zo” Qadri.
Chito and Zo will be available for a “Motility Town Hall” on Thursday May 9th from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the City of Austin Permitting and Development Center, 6310 Wilhelmina Delco Dr, Austin, Texas 78752, Near the ACC Campus across from the LINC.
