It’s official. WPNA will award fourteen $1,000 scholarships to seniors graduating from an Austin Independent School District high school (AISD).

At the June 8th, 2024 WPNA meeting we celebrated our 2024 students and wished them well on the next
stage of their journey. It was inspiring to meet their families and share a meal with them, hearing about their next steps and sharing stories about growing up in this neighborhood.

In our neighborhood schools, Northeast and LBJ High Schools, any qualified senior is eligible and encouraged to apply. Windsor Park resident seniors who attend any AISD school are eligible and encouraged. Since the first scholarships were awarded ten years ago, our mission continues to recognize and support our Windsor Park seniors and to support public education (AISD).

Thanks to the generosity of Windsor Park residents, WPNA has always funded all qualified applicants. In ten years, we have awarded 98 scholarships and have raised about $103,000 to fund all qualified applicants. We have a reserve for our 2025 scholarship.
