Neighborhood Beautification Project!!!

Some awesome volunteers got together this weekend to help beautify the median at Berkman and 290 – just across the street from El Rancho Supermarket. If you get a chance, walk or drive by the median. You’ll definitely see the difference. We had about 15 volunteers come and help out from 9 till after 3 pm on Saturday. We have plans to finish the median in a couple of weeks, tentatively scheduled for Saturday March 15. We will need volunteers for the second round to plant and mulch at the ends of the median. Thank you to Barton Springs Nursery which provided us with the plants at a discount and to Keep Austin Beautiful which awarded us with a grant to buy the supplies. Most of all, thank you to the volunteers and organizers who came out and spent their Saturday making our neighborhood more attractive and friendly!
